New special issues from DETAIL

Architecture magazine DETAIL aims at new target groups with DETAIL inside and DETAIL structure.

Munich, May 18, 2015. As from May onward the specialist architecture magazine DETAIL will publish two new, independent special issues aimed at new target groups. Besides addressing architects, DETAIL inside is specifically aimed at interior designers and DETAIL structure at civil engineers. Both B2B magazines are published in bi-lingual editions (German and English). The initial frequency of two issues a year will be increased to several issues a year in the future. With this step DETAIL, the Munich-based publishing house specializing on architecture, recognizes the increasing interrelationship between the different occupations, addresses all parties involved in building construction and aims to support them in their daily business by supplying important specialist information. The goal is to strengthen the DETAIL brand and to further develop the proven editorial concept in order to increase the attractiveness for the readers as well as the advertisers.

DETAIL Inside addresses all aspects regarding interior design and construction as a combination of specific technical information and inspiration. Interior planning and design is illustrated with the help of detailed product documentation. The current developments in interior design and interior decoration are reflected in the range of topic issues focussing on different typologies, materials and construction types as well as through articles providing background information, in-depth interviews with the leading protagonists and the introduction of selected new products.

DETAIL Structure's subject is the interface between civil engineers and architects, therefore making it equally relevant to both occupations whose common goal is to achieve the best possible result during construction. Because every outstanding building is the result not only of the designing architect, but also of a no less creative structural planner. The cooperation between these two professions is supported through the articles on the planning and building processes.

The DETAIL magazine remains the base of it all, introducing and supplying information on buildings of all categories in ten issues a year since 1961 - with an editorial concept which places its emphasis on the highest standard of quality in which the detail is presented within the constructional and architectural context. DETAIL holds a special position in the market and is a unique source of information as well as a working basis for planning and architectural offices.

The highest standard of quality is confirmed through the 19,500 subscriptions (approx. 95% of the sold print run). This makes DETAIL the leader in the area of independent architecture titles. The agla a+b circulation analysis 2012 also attest the first place in archiving: 88% of the DETAIL magazines are archived - and the first place in professional benefit with 72%: The unique drawings and projects elevate its importance to high/very high. DETAIL distinguishes itself through its excellent value of contributions.

Subscribers receive all six special issues free of charge. The individual copies can be bought through the online shop www.detail.de for € 18.90 each (excluding postage and packing).
